@msjoannae It is finally #washday again so I’m using products from @alikaynaturals. I’m starting with the Moisturizing Black Soap Shampoo, that includes ingredients like Cocoa Seed Powder, Plantain Skins, and Tea Tree Oil. These ingredients help reduce split ends and build up on the scalp and roots. It has a watery consistency, but lathers well. My hair needed a little love after being in the sand, sea, and sun in The Bahamas, so I deep conditioned with the Honey and Sage Deep Conditioner for maximum moisture. It has great slip so detangling was a breeze. Before blow drying, I used the Glazed Argan Oil Silkener as a heat protectant. @msjoannae One thing Imma do when I go to Trinidad & Tobago is eat my belly happy. In addition to being addicted to the garlic sauce and literally putting it on everything, I had a mixture of fruits, pelau, homemade pineapple garlic chicken, macaroni pie, and Chinese food from my aunts, curry mango and curry duck from my uncle, roti, aloo and chana from my cousins, and as a Gold member breakfast was included with my stay at the @hilton Trinidad Here’s some of what I ate during my two week stay in the country.
